Influenster e.l.f. Cosmetics VoxBox

Hey all! It's literally been forever since I wrote, but I'm back to write about the latest VoxBox I've gotten! I kind of fell off the Influenster radar for a while because I was constantly traveling and was seriously busy with school, but now I have some free time as I finish up final projects and exams.

I got this in the mail about 2 weeks ago, but I'm finally writing about this! I was so excited to be able to get into this VoxBox because I love e.l.f. and I was excited to be able to try a bit of their new skincare line available on their website!

*I received these products courtesy of Influenster and e.l.f. Cosmetics, but all opinions expressed are mine.*

To begin with, some photos!

Most Influenster VoxBoxes are themed based on the specific brand products inside!

All five products from the box

Each VoxBox comes with a card that explains the products and the next steps to take as an Influenster! (Check in your VoxBox/mark it received, etc)

The cards also list all the products included inside the box. This one also says where you can purchase the items!

The new Hydrating Bubble Mask! Part of the e.l.f. Skin Care launch!

I really love the packaging of this bubble mask. The jar keeps it protected, and gives it a sleek look. I like the color and the unique way of dispensing the mask itself. The mask is easy to apply and easy to clean off. The price is also pretty great for this type of mask, when most masks have hefty prices. e.l.f. has stayed true to their affordable products for all mentality even with their skincare line.

I've actually tried two different e.l.f primers in the past, and I loved them both. They were great starters for a makeup look, and they went on so smoothly and left my skin feeling great after a day of wearing! The ones I tried previously were the Poreless Face Primer and one that was later replaced by the Blemish Control Primer, which I haven't yet tried, though I probably will one day!

As a fan of e.l.f. primers, I was super excited to be able to see this primer in the box. This particular primer is listed under the Tone Adjusting Primer as a different color option, which makes it a bit tricky to find if you're not sure where to look! I haven't yet tested this one, but if it's anything like the other two primers I've tried, I know I'll like it.

Next up was this lovely Baked Highlighter & Bronzer. I'm generally not one to wear highlighters or bronzers because I feel they're just an extra makeup item to carry around. That being said, this one looks tempting enough with that shimmer and that perfectly straight separated line that I know I'm going to have to give this one a try. I love the shimmer of the bronzer as well. It makes it that much more fun and that much more appealing especially in these winter months when I'm constantly fighting dull skin.

I've always loved e.l.f. most for their lip products. I love a good lipstick or lip color, and e.l.f. has always had prices that appealed to me as first a frugal teenager and then frugal full-time college student. I've found e.l.f.'s lip products to be great rivals of the more expensive brands, though for a long while e.l.f. had a much more limited color range. Now, at least online, they have probably a dozen or more colors. I just recently bought their Moisturizing Lipstick in black, and I love it.

I've never personally tried their lip exfoliators before. I don't generally use them. I do have a sample-sized pot of the Fresh sugar scrub, but I prefer products I don't have to dip my fingers into. I like that this comes in a lipstick shape which makes application easy, and I really like the fun blue color.

I've been recently in love with lip crayons. I have Nars minis that I seriously wear almost every day. I love how easy they are to apply, the mostly matte look, and they're so easy to take around with me. Currently, the Nars ones I have are the only ones I've officially owned, so I was so excited to see this on the box. I absolutely love the color, which is nearly identical in color to the Nars one I have. I would say it would make a great dupe, which means I can get the same great color and ease of application for way less money.

Overall Thoughts:

I was so impressed with this VoxBox. This was Influenster's first box with e.l.f. Cosmetics, and I have to say it's a great range of products. It's really a great face look! You have almost all the steps to doing your face: mask, primer, highlighter, lips. All you would need is something for the eyes, and if you've received any Influenster VoxBoxes in the past, I'm sure you have all the products you would need for a great look.

I feel that some VoxBoxes can be a little hit-or-miss for me, personally. Sometimes I feel like the content isn't something that I can easily use up, whether it's a makeup product in a color I wouldn't wear or a product I don't normally use, this box definitely wasn't one of those. I loved everything in this box, and I'm so happy I got all full-sized products because I'm definitely going to be using all of these up!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Influenster:

Influenster is a company that lets its members test products from brands ranging from drugstore to luxury in categories like makeup and skincare, food, and lifestyle. To get started, you can sign up on their Registration page! To start receiving VoxBoxes, you first have to link your social media. The greater your "Social Impact", the greater the chances of getting into more boxes you have!

The whole point of Influenster is that you get to test great products for free, and companies get honest reviews of those products in return! Members can post reviews within the Influenster site/app or on their own personal blogs, YouTube channels, or other social outlets. That being said, you don't have to have a huge social reach to be able to receive VoxBoxes! I had very few social media followers when I started receiving VoxBoxes. I think that Influenster has actually helped grow my social media presence in some aspects!

Influenster is a great way to find out about products you're not familiar with and to write reviews for ones you are! It's also a great way to try out new products!
