These are all the lipsticks I'll be reviewing. Hopefully the pictures are not super blurry.
1)
This lipstick is the 510A Light Beige Frost by Wet n Wild, and I love it! It's got a slight shimmer, and it's not super sticky. It's also not super thick that it just clings to everything. It's got a nice wear, and a nice coloring. It's not super pink either, which I like. The only thing about it, is it has more of that yellow tone that some pinks and reds have that makes teeth tend to look a bit more yellow.
2)
This pink lipstick, by Mary Kay, was a bit too pink for me. It's similar to the Nicki Minaj Viva Glam ones that are in that super bright, Barbie doll pink, and it just wasn't a good fit for me. As to the quality though, it had a thick, creamy formula that really glided on well, and it did make my lips feel quite fantastic. I'd recommend this brand, and even the color for those more daring than I am.
3)
This lipstick, is by Ulta, and it was one of the ones that come in the "gift" bag if you buy a certain dollar amount of Ulta products. It's a little smaller than the original lipsticks, and it was another one that I wasn't overly impressed with. I'm not a huge fan of the color brown, and brown lipsticks just don't tend to flatter most people. It was also a bit cheaply made, though their regular lipsticks are much better, and overall it just wasn't a good fit. The color made me look a bit washed out too, which is never a good look! A plus about this though, is that it's got a long-lasting formula that wasn't likely to come off as shown in the lip sample below.
4)
This lipstick, in Pink Melon, is also by Mary Kay, and I liked this one much better than the other one! It had a deeper, richer color, and it was a darker pink. It also made my teeth look whiter, which was amazing. I love lipsticks that make teeth look whiter. The formula for this lipstick was the same as the one above, since it's the same brand and same line of lipstick colors, but this one was a much better fit for me.
5)
This lipstick is from Rimmel London's Kiss & Stay collection, which I'm not sure is still available. I haven't seen many of them in stores lately, but I've also been trying to avoid buying anything by avoiding the beauty stores and beauty sections of stores! This lipstick is double-ended, and has a shiny, glittery gloss on the other side. I don't use the gloss, as I'm not a huge fan of the way lip gloss feels on my lips: sort of sticky. The lipstick goes on rather like a gloss, and it dries into a lipstick form, which lasts quite a long time! I've worn one application of the lipstick all day before with hardly any wear!
*This swatch thingy I took while the lipstick was still wet (before it dried)*
6)
As I said above, I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss, but this one by Maybelline, is the one exception! This one comes in a rather, unfortunately, messy twist-up tube, which is a unique packaging, but it's also very messy and makes application a tad harder than regular gloss. So, for packaging, I'd give Maybelline a 5/10 since it's so messy, but the actual gloss itself is lovely. The color isn't too noticeable, and it's a long-lasting not super sticky wear, which is great. If it came in a regular tube, I'd recommend it more!
I just love the way the lip swatch looks too! :)
In order: Wet n Wild, Mary Kay (Paradise Pink), Ulta, Mary Kay (Pink Melon), Rimmel London, Maybelline
