DSW Rewards Program Review
So, another rewards program that I've been loving is the one offered by DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse! I signed up about two months ago now, and just for signing up I received a $5 certificate in the mail! Having also signed up for e-mail updates with the rewards program, I received a $10 certificate as well, which I used to buy a very pretty pair of heels for Easter.
The program is one of the simplest to join. All you have to do is enter your basic information and you're in! After you sign up, you can either have a DSW Rewards card mailed to you or you can get it on your smartphone or you can have it looked up by phone number. I chose to have it mailed, because who doesn't feel fashionable pulling out a rewards card while shopping?
How it works: you either get 5 or 10 points for every dollar spent. Every regularly priced purchase gets you 10 points per dollar while every clearance-priced item gets you 5 points per dollar. Rewards members get double points twice a year giving you either 10 or 20 points per dollar during the double points period, and for every 1,500 points you earn, you'll receive a $10 certificate! Also, on your birthday you get a $5 certificate! If you are a Premier Status rewards member, you'll get a $10 certificate, and all rewards members get free shipping on their online purchases of $35 or more, which could save you at least $6-$7 with no shipping.
Premier Status members get 50% more points, triple points twice a year instead of just double points, and free next-day shipping! That just can't be beat! To reach Premier Status, you have to get at least 6,000 points in one consecutive year (January 1-December 31). That means you've got to spend around $600 to reach Premier Status, but the points sure do add up because you receive points for every purchase, not just on shoes!
I'm already loving this program, and I've only been a member for two months! I would definitely consider this program one of the best I've seen so far for a retailer, and I must say, I'll be shopping much more often at DSW in the future!

One by One Volum Express Maybelline Mascara Review

So, besides being obsessed with Bath & Body Works (as mentioned in my last post), I'm also
Beyond that, the mascara isn't super expensive for the quality at the $5.94 a tube. Plus, if you use your mailer coupons, you can usually get at least a dollar off. Now, I'm a cheapie so getting a really great mascara for pretty cheap is the best.

Bath & Body Works Berry Flirt Body Spray Review
So here's the thing...I'm just slightly obsessed with Bath & Body Works. Okay, maybe a little more than slightly, but that's beside the point. I love the feeling I get when I walk into the store, the scents surrounding me like a welcoming hug. I always spray myself with those "Try-Me" bottles, and I usually never leave without having bought something. Maybe that makes me a bit of a shopaholic...
Anyways, that's not the point. The point is a review. This spray shown in the picture at right, is my favorite new scent of theirs. It's called Berry Flirt, and it comes in the travel size 3 oz. (shown), the full-size 8 oz, shower gel, body lotion, body wash, triple moisture body cream, shimmer mist, and even lip gloss! What more could you possibly want?
Berry Flirt is, obviously, a very berry scent with Sparkling Plum blossom, Red berries, Crispy Apple, and Iced Petals as top notes. The mid notes are Peach Blossom, Candy Violet, and Camellia. The dry notes are Vanilla Bean, Velvet Musk, and blonde Woods. There is a bit of a lingering raspberry scent mixed in as well.
As always, Bath & Body Work's has made a great product with a long-wear scent. I spray it on in the morning before school, and I'm still smelling fruity when I'm getting ready for bed at night. The spray is light and not as strong as many other scents making it a perfect day-wear scent. Just what I like.
